Four Lubbock County seniors receive prestigious scholarship

On Friday, April 24, 2015, the Lubbock Area Foundation announced the names of four exceptional Lubbock County high school students that were selected to receive the prestigious Don & Sybil Harrington Scholarship for this year. The Don & Sybil Harrington Scholarship Endowment was established at the Lubbock Area Foundation in late 2006 with a gift of $3 million. The Endowment was formed for the benefit of Lubbock County High School seniors who wish to pursue their education in the fields of Mathematics, Physical Sciences or Engineering.
