Scholarship Spotlight: Association of Texas Leaders for Education

Established in 1990, the Association of Texas Leaders for Education, commonly known as ATLE, serves to assist students who wish to pursue their education at a post-secondary level. ATLE has generously created a $1,000 scholarship for graduating, college bound Texas high school seniors. Foundation awards over $2 million in 2016

Since its inception in 1981, the Community Foundation of West Texas (Formerly Lubbock Area Foundation) has had the privilege and honor of awarding over $18 million in grants and scholarships to help better our community. Last year alone, the Community Foundation of West Texas was able to provide $2 million in the form of scholarships and grants to those in the South Plains region. More than $712,000 alone was given to grants and scholarships for education and youth in 2016.
