Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund


Recently the Gulf Coast and southeastern Texas were hit by Hurricane Harvey, a category 4 hurricane with 130mph winds, that left thousands of Texans without homes. This is one of the worst natural disasters in United States history. As plans to rebuild the Gulf Coast, southeastern Texas, and Houston begin, we encourage you to give to help your fellow Texans in their desperate time of devastation and need.

Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund (GHCF) - Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner established a fund that will accept tax-deductible donations for flood relief efforts. This fund is housed at the Greater Houston Community Foundation. Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund (Dallas) - The Dallas Foundation has established a fund to support non-profit organizations working with hurricane victims. All gifts are tax-deductible.

Red Cross Hurricane Relief - You can donate to help hurricane victims through the Red Cross by visiting their website online, or by texting HARVEY to 90999.

The Salvation Army Hurricane Relief - Donations can also be made through The Salvation Army's website to help victims.

Catholic Charities Hurricane Relief - Donations can be made through Catholic Charities at their website, or by texting CCUSADISASTER to 71777. Everyone at the Community Foundation of West Texas is deeply saddened by the news of loss and devastation from Hurricane Harvey. We encourage you to donate to help hurricane victims in need today.
