Post-Garza County Endowment Grant Story: South Plains Council Boy Scouts of America

With a grant from the Post-Garza County Endowment, South Plains Council Boy Scouts of America made swimming pool improvements at Camp Post. The organization used a portion of the funds to add “benches and cushions for parents and scouts to use between activities.” Grant dollars were also used to repair the lifeguard stand, purchase umbrellas, and buy water volleyballs and basketballs for scout use.

South Plains Council BSA hosted several events over the summer and used the pool for swimming and water safety activities. The nonprofit concludes the report by saying, “Everyone is very proud of the pool and its improvements, thanks to Foundations and Endowments such as the Post-Garza County Endowment provides.”
