Duties & Responsibilities Include:

  • Works with the Board and its committees to develop goals and strategies

  • Administer all Foundation programs and operations and maintains compliance with National Standards for Community Foundations

  • Primarily responsible for the development of Foundation assets, establishing relationships with a broad spectrum of current and potential donors, financial advisors, civic groups, nonprofit organizations, and other foundations.

  • Collaborate with the Investment Committee to oversee the financial management of assets, maintain appropriate investment policies and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations. 

  • explores new opportunities to address community needs, evaluates emerging opportunities, and makes informed decisions on the potential viability of each

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with new and major donors

  • Develop and implement strategies for securing philanthropic support from individuals and corporations

  • Work closely with Plainview Area Endowment and Post-Garza County Endowment boards to grow their community presence and help each of the four affiliates with their donor management

  • Assist with Giving Tuesday and special events planning and execution

  • Coordinate closely with colleagues in, Programs/Grant Management and Finance to ensure that the CFWT and its knowledge/resources are available to prospective donors.

  • Prepare all bank deposits and transfers

  • Post all gifts, disbursements, grants, and all general journal entries

  • Set up the fund, vendor, and account information in the Blackbaud Financial Edge/Raiser's Edge system

  • Fund statements, financial statements, budget, accounts payable and receivable, and gift acknowledgments 

  • Coordinate semi-annual mailings to fund representatives

  • Manage social media pages, websites (CFWT, Affiliates, and Giving Tuesday), and design materials

  • Act as the central coordinator and primary contact for the Women's Giving Circle
