The Community Foundation of  West Texas is creating the Heroes of West Texas fund to honor frontline medical staff who worked, and continue to work, tirelessly and selflessly to assist COVID-19 patients.

During the Pandemic, healthcare workers sacrificed time with family, personal safety, and comfort to help our community heal.

A percentage of funds raised will go to nonprofits that provide medical staff the resources needed to do their job, and the other half will go into Foundation operating.

Each year, CFWT will ask a representative from each organization to participate in deciding how funds can best be utilized for the benefit of those who give so much of themselves for our community. This is an opportunity to honor and show our gratitude to the people who are truly heroes in this community.
