Hero's Luncheon 2024 John Zwiacher

John D. Zwiacher is the third generation of Scoggin-Dickey started working for the

family business in 1977. He graduated from High School in Lubbock, TX and

subsequently graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Accounting.

He then worked at Arthur Anderson Security firm for three years in Dallas, TX.

He achieved his C.P.A. certificate. He returned to Lubbock to sell cars at

Scoggin-Dickey in 1977. He had numerous positions in the dealership, first as a

sales associate, then Finance & Insurance Manager, Used Car Manager,

New Vehicle Manager, Controller, managed and oversaw parts sales & inventory,

General Manager, & has been a Dealer since 1983. Scoggin Dickey will celebrate

being in business 95 years this summer. John has been married to Ann for 50 years

this coming August 2024. He has a daughter named Jackie who is married to

Sammy and a son named David who is married to Emily. He has 5 grandchildren

who he adores and loves spending time with Hudson (9), Carson (8), Grayson (7),

Preston (5) and Blaire (3).
