The Slaton Harvey House has a new curb sign made possible with a grant from the Slaton Area Endowment. The updated board replaces signage that had been in front of the Harvey House for 15 years. CFWT Grant Story: East Lubbock Art House
East Lubbock Art House, with funds from a Sybil B. Harrington Endowment for the Arts grant, continued supporting local artists, hosting community engagement projects and art receptions, and guided art tours of student groups. This grant assisted ELAH with monthly rent payments for its gallery space for the 2021 year. CFWT Scholarship Spotlight: Brady Caswell
Brady Caswell, 2021 Meadow High School Valedictorian, received the Noyce Burleson Scholarship for the current school year. Brady is now attending classes, at Angelo State University, in Animal Science and Chemistry. Because of his love of animals and experience working at Terry County Vet Hospital, Brady hopes to become a doctor of veterinarian medicine. In high school, Brady played golf and basketball and was named MVP in both sports his senior year. Brady also won the UIL F
