Community Foundation of West Texas and Parkhill, Smith and Cooper Grants $107,000 to West Texas Area

On Tuesday, March 27, 2018, the Community Foundation of West Texas and Parkhill, Smith and Cooper announced grants to 11 agencies across Texas. The press conference was held at the future location of the New Legacy Home for Women at 3003 Avenue J (at the corner of 30th Street and Avenue J) at 10:00am. The Community Foundation of West Texas is proud to announce the funding of grants to fourteen arts organizations and nine animal organizations totaling $179,714.64! These funds are from several endowments of the Community Foundation: Sybil B. Harrington Endowment for the Arts, the Ruth Wright Endowment for Animals, the Alice Virginia White Endowment for Dogs and Cats, and the Jimmie Nelson Endowment.
