Xcel Energy Foundation makes donation

Recently, the Xcel Energy Foundation gave the Lubbock Area Foundation a grant of $3,000 to surrounding counties to promote strong communities. The Plainview Area Endowment, Levelland Area Endowment and Post-Garza County Endowment will each receive $1,000 of the $3,000 given from Xcel. It is the philosophy of Xcel to be a community partner with these affiliates to promote growth in the community making it a better place to learn, work and live.

Over time this gift, and others like it, will increase the value of the Endowment, which in turn will provide more earnings for grants to the community.
