#GivingTuesdayLBK Update

What a day it was yesterday! Sixty non-profits, Eighteen sponsors and countless individuals with BIG hearts and open hands came together to make a difference in this and surrounding communities.

Local restaurants, service and retail businesses opened their doors and pledged to donate a percentage of all sales back to #GivingTuesdayLBK. Area nonprofits provided "boots on the ground" volunteers to man the donation booths. They spent the day accepting donations at United Supermarkets, Market Streets and Amigos stores across the South Plains. Last, but not least, our online platform accepted donations until 11:59 pm yesterday.

Community Foundation of West Texas staff were here late into the evening counting the cash and entering offline donations. In fact, we are still counting today!!
