Slaton Area Endowment Grant Story: Llano Estacado Silver Star Board
Through the help of Slaton Area Endowment, Llano Estacado Silver Star Board provided one Slaton resident with ramps for her home. Jess Pearson explains, “This was for an elderly resident on a fixed income. This resident had been needing some type of ramping for a while but the funds had not been available.”
This grant not only provided this person with safety, but also the independence to live in, and move about her home freely. Once funds were made available, ramps were quickly installed, and she could get back to living her life worry-free.
