CFWT announces nearly $700,000 in 1st Quarter Grants

Today the Community Foundation of West Texas announced nearly $700,000 in grants for the first quarter of 2016. At a press conference at the Museum of Texas Tech, the Foundation announced grant awards to 80 agencies across the South Plains in the amount of $678,813. These grants are gifts made possible through the Sybil B. Harrington Endowment for the Arts, Ruth C. Wright Endowment for the Animals, Community Foundation of West Texas Community Funds, Parkhill Smith & Cooper Building Community Impact Funds, and Designated and Donor-Advised Funds held within the Foundation.
